Nields Crossing Moley People

We sat around Grand Central and we drank a bottle of Boones
And we poured into the tunnels beneath where no-one could get us: no cops or goons
And I say Have I bought the booze twice now?
Haven't I bought the booze?
Haven't I bought the booze again?
So don't I get the right to choose?

I choose you. Stay away from that rail!
I choose you to catch a rat by the tail
We'll be Moley People
From now on..

Mo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ley people (people!)
Mo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ley people (people!)

My house is filled with broken glass and lots of rats and tons of other stuff!
In my house we see by touch-and-feel and pure instinct
And that's seems to be enough
To see what we wanna see
You watch my back while I take a pee
and we'll be moley people from now on!

Mo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ley people (people!)
Mo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ley people (people!)

Whay can't I be Moley?
Why can't I be Moley like you!

Oh to you I would give the coins I make, the fattest rat and the morning light
that seeps in through this subway grate if you would only rise if you would only say
I want you to skewer all of my rats
I want you cause I'm afraid of the bats
We'll be moley from now on...
